iGP to hold its online AGM-2022 on its Foundation Day 18 November

Unchir–Dunktok, Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, 29 October 2022: The India Greens Party (iGP) will hold the Annual General Meeting-2022 (AGM-2022) of its National Executive Committee on its Foundation Day falling on 18 November.

The press release issued here at the national head office (NHO) of the party, said the AGM-2022 will be organised online in view of the Covid-19 prevalence, financial constraints, and with a noble purpose to restrict the carbon footprints.

The online AGM of the National Executive will be divided into several sessions.

In the inaugural plenary, guest speakers will speak on the burning environmental and political issues.

The Business Session will be an internal session in which the key office bearers including the Co-Presidents, Secretary-General, Chief Spokesperson, Treasurer, and International Co-Secretaries will make their annual presentations. Conveners of the National Committees and the heads of the state and union territory units will also present their respective reports.

The political Session will pass resolutions on various issues. Amendments to the party constitution will also be proposed in this session. After adoption of the amendments, these will finally be put for vote in the National Convention of the National Council, the supreme body of the party, next year in November. In the AGMs, the voting rights rest with the National Executive Committee members only.

In the Concluding Session, the new logo of the party, created by eminent designer Bansi Lal Ketki, will be adopted, and a Certificate of Appreciation presented to the designer by the Logo Design Sub-Committee Convener Ishpriya Kaur in Mumbai on behalf of the iGP Founder Suresh Nautiyal.
