India Greens Party celebrates its 6th Foundation Day

The India Greens Party (iGP) today celebrated its sixth Foundation Day in several parts of the country.

The party officially came into existence on 18 November 2018, though it was initiated on 2 July 2017.

The Election Commission of India registered the India Greens Party as a political organisation on 18 July 2019.

The party has its footprints in 27 states and union territories of the country.

The party fielded a woman candidate in the just held Assembly election in the state of Chhattisgarh but the Returning Officer there declared her as an independent candidate.

Now, the party is all determined to field its candidates in the forthcoming Lok Sabha election.

The party will hold its national convention quite soon.
