iGP elects its new NEC and NC: Prabhath Prabhakaran & Harpreet Kaur new Co-Presidents, Sarika Dabral new Secretary-General

The third National Convention (online) of the India Greens Party (iGP) today elected its new National Executive Committee and reconstituted its National Council.

Prabhath Prabhakaran & Ms Harpreet Kaur are the new Co-Presidents of the party for a term of two years. Ms Vinita Menon, Ms Rehana Siddiqui, Rusi Burjor Nariman, and Ms Ishpriya Kaur are the Vice-Presidents of the party. 

Ms Sarika Dabral is the new Secretary-General of India Greens Party. Suresh Nautiyal will continue to be the Chief Spokesperson, and Ms Vinita Menon has been elected as the new Spokesperson. 

Ashish Thakuri will continue to be the Treasurer for another two years. Ms Ishpriya Kaur will also continue as the International Secretary.

The National Convention nominated former Co-President Rajendra Minj and Bengaluru-based activist Sandeep Anirudhan as Members of the Board of Advisers.

The Political Affairs Committee includes Prabhath Prabhakaran and Ms Harpreet Kaur (Co-Conveners), Ms Sarika Dabral, Suresh Nautiyal, Ashish Thakuri, Rajendra Minj, Ms Ishpriya Kaur, Rusi Burjor Nariman, Ms (Dr) Madhubanti Sen, Adil Rather, Jiten Singh Konthoujam, Kailash Anerao, and Kesar Singh Waterkeeper.

The National General Secretaries include Adil Rather (J&K & Ladakh), Kesar Singh Waterkeeper (UP & UK), Jiten Singh Konthoujam (Northeast), and Ullash Kumar RK (Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu).

The National Secretaries include Ms Harleen Kaur Gill (Delhi), Bibhuti Deb Barma (Northeast), Sadam Hussain (J&K), Asad Ullah Khan (UP & UK), Ms Afsana Singh (CG).

Ashish Thakuri will continue to be the iGP Website Coordinator, and Michael Rajchandra as the voluntary Website Coordinator. Ms Harleen Kaur Gill will continue to be the Head of the Audio-Visual Team.

The party has retained the Executive Board and all the 23 national Committees on various issues. The National Executive Committee (NEC) and the National Council (NC) includes delegates from the states and union territories like Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Brihan (Greater) Mumbai, Chhattisgarh, Daman & Diu, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Manipur, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Tripura, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal.
