The fourth Biennial National Convention of the India Greens Party (iGP) today elected its new National Executive Committee and reconstituted the National Council.
Prabhath Prabhakaran (Kerala) & Ms Sarika Dabral (Uttarakhand) are the new Co-Presidents of the party for a term of two years.
Ms Rehana Siddiqui (Delhi), Rusi Burjor Nariman (Greater Mumbai), and Ms Ishpriya Kaur (Greater Mumbai) are the Vice-Presidents of the party.
Ms Shivani Bhatt (Brihan Mumbai) and Subhash Dabral (Uttarakhand) are the new Secretary-Generals of the party.
Founder, Patron and Mentor Suresh Nautiyal will continue to be the Chief Spokesperson.
Kesar Singh (Uttarakhand) is the new Treasurer.
Ishpriya Kaur and Suresh Nautiyal are the International Secretaries.
The Online National Convention nominated former Co-Presidents Rajendra Minj (Chattisgarh), Kailash Anerao (Maharashtra) and Ms Harpreet Kaur (Punjab) as Members of the Board of Advisers.
Ms Rejula Vadakkeykandy (Kerala) is the new national Convener of India Greens Party Women’s Network (iGPWN), and Adil Rather (Jammu & Kashmir) is the India Young Greens (iYG) National Convener once again.
The Political Affairs Committee (PAC) includes Prabhath Prabhakaran and Ms Sarika Dabral (Co-Conveners), Ms Shivani Bhatt, Subhash Dabral, Suresh Nautiyal, Kailash Anerao, Ms Harpreet Kaur, Rajendra Minj, Ms, Rehana Siddiqui, Ms Ishpriya Kaur, Adil Rather, Kesar Singh, Ms Rejula Vadakkeykandy, Rusi Burjor Nariman, Sudarshan Chhotoray and Jiten Singh Konthoujam.
The National General Secretaries are Adil Rather (J&K & Ladakh), Jiten Singh Konthoujam (Northeast), Ullash Kumar RK (Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu), Santosh Lalwani (Maharashtra), and Aditya Gupta (Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh)
The National Secretaries include Ms Harleen Kaur Gill (Delhi), Bibhuti Deb Barma (Northeast), Sadam Hussain (J&K) and Asad Ullah Khan (Uttar Pradesh & Uttarakhand).
Prabhath Prabhakaran is the iGP Website Coordinator, and Michael Rajchandra will continue as the voluntary Website Coordinator. Ms Harleen Kaur Gill will continue to be the Head of the Audio-Visual Team.
The party has retained the Executive Board and all the National Committees on various issues. The National Executive Committee (NEC) and the National Council (NC) include delegates from the states and union territories like Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Brihan Mumbai, Chhattisgarh, Daman & Diu, Delhi, Gujarat, Goa, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Manipur, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Tripura, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal.
